Linda Diane Feldt Commentary on the 44% Increase in APTA Dues for RPE Designation

Feb. 20 2007
To The Board and Staff,
I have chosen to renew as an RPP and not the RPE as a small protest
against the lack of member involvement and notification in creating
this separate dues category, because the RPE fees represents an
unprecedented 44% increase in dues with a decrease in member
services, and because the direction of the DOE and board interest in
education is at odds with my goals that I have repeatedly stated to
the board and the DOE.
As one of the many but increasingly shrinking long time (26 years)
teachers of Polarity Therapy I hope this tangible lack of support
will end up being a meaningful “vote” for reconsideration of the
goals and the type of support provided not only from APTA but also
within the teaching community which APTA should be facilitating.
